First Baseball Game

Parker went to his first baseball game yesterday!  Daddy was in all of his Braves-loving-glory and was BEYOND excited that his son was at a game with him.

We joined our friends for some tailgating before the game.  Parker sat with the ladies (as usual for this ladies’ man…I’m in for some trouble when he’s a teenager) while watching Daddy and the other boys throw the football back and forth.

Here is Parker and Daddy on the way into the game.  Parker was in high spirits at this point and Daddy was 10 years old again walking into a candy shop.

Forget about our wedding, or Parker’s birth for that matter.  This might have been the best day of Brandon’s life.

You can tell that at this point (about 6 minutes into the game) Parker was clearly not amused.  We have a sensitive little boy on our hands.  He DOES NOT like loud noises so when the crowd cheered, a screaming baby came afterwards.  Daddy says he can be as sensitive as he wants – as long as he doesn’t throw like a girl 🙂After a few cries I took Parker outside of the stadium and walked and held him the rest of the game until eventually he fell asleep so Brandon could enjoy his first Braves game.  Big time wife points for me ::wink:: ::wink::

I made it back in for the last 2 minutes of the game.  We had a really good time with our friends.  Brandon and Parker were able to see their favorite baseball team for the first time and I got to eat stadium food, some chicken tenders and cotton candy so I was a happy girl 🙂
